The Registrar is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all campus academic records.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain student records to comply with the policies of Heald College and regulatory agencies, including, but not limited to:
-
Family Emergency Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
-
International Student Records and Documentation (SEVIS)
-
Veteran Affairs (VA)
-
Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)
-
PeopleSoft/HOST super-user which includes the following duties:
-
Inputting master schedule and registering students for course sections
-
End of quarter grade processing
-
Determining quarterly GPA and Attendance Honors
-
Process students for graduation which may include auditing student records, removing academic holds, and publishing a certified graduation list.

Reporting data to appropriate Directors and to CAO, which includes but is not limited to:

Satisfactory Academic Process (SAP)

Enrollment Data
-
Attendance Data
-
Other reports as requested
-
Process requests for Official Transcripts, Enrollment Verification, Attendance Verification, as well as other records inquiries in accordance with FERPA.
Job Specifications:
-
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience in a multi-cultural environment preferred.
-
Work experience in a Registrar’s office preferred.

Familiarity with FERPA regulations, I-20 (international students), VA, and rehab monitoring preferred.

Proven, excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary to work with both students and faculty and staff to effectively accomplish position responsibilities.

Proven, excellent organizational skills.
