ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform, and oversee contractors performing, predictive and preventative facilities maintenance to ensure maximum facility uptime.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, document and support all maintenance in relationship with the waste water treatment systems and DI water systems.
  • Support the staff that monitor and manage the performance of the cleanrooms as outlined by the specifications set by the Manufacturing and Facilities Department.
  • Utilize the Building Automation System (BAS) to monitor status of facility equipment and systems, correct any malfunction, and make needed changes.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on building equipment
  • Perform HVAC and plumbing maintenance and minor repairs
  • Read and interpret operation & maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, engineering sketches, diagrams, and other drawings to ensure timely, error-free completion of projects and maintenance.
  • Be a member of the emergency response team.
  • Perform all work to industry standards complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations, chemical handling and following safe work habits
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, client and vendor information.
  • May be responsible for collecting, handling, labeling and overseeing the hazardous and universal wastes in their designated areas per regulatory requirements and FFI's policies and procedures. Personnel who are designated to handle the hazardous and universal waste must take have current training provided by FFI.
  • Complete Facilities Work Orders as assigned.
  • Able to work in Semiconductor FAB and laboratory environments which includes hazardous equipment, energies, chemicals, magnetic fields, radiation sources, and other hazardous process. Magnetic fields may affect pacemakers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in building maintenance and/or preventative measures for trade specific tasks
  • Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience operating hand and/or power tools
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience following detailed work instructions
  • A working knowledge of chemical handling
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and plumbing equipment
  • Must have a high awareness for safety at all times
  • Basic trouble shooting knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Prior clean room experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Ability to follow documentation and record keeping instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
  • Good problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
  • Available to be on call and do shift work.
  • Associates degree desired in a technical discipline such as: Building Maintenance, Engineering, Plumbing, etc. Equivalent or combined work or military experience may be substituted.
  • Advanced electrical, HVAC and Plumbing knowledge is preferred
  • Project coordination experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to climb and work from ladders, man lifts, and roofs.
  • The employee must have strong manual dexterity as he/she is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance as you may be required to work at elevated heights (i.e. on ladders, stools, or other assistive devices).
  • The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or maneuver in areas of confined width and height space working in or around cramped mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards workspace
  • Ability to work in constrictive attire, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment as required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Facilities include: Cleanroom fabrication facility, general office workspaces, labs, warehouse and manufacturing/production areas
  • 24-hour Fab operation requiring off shift support as necessary
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $21.90 and $28.77. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
