Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional care to residents, ensuring their personal care needs are met and promoting their quality of life

  • Review patient care plans daily to determine if changes are necessary and communicate any changes to the nurse supervisor
  • Foster a warm and cheerful environment for residents and uphold a high standard of patience, enthusiasm, and kindness
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies

Qualifications:
  • 10th grade education or above
  • Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in this state
  • Passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for residents
