CGH has an exciting opportunity for a Research Intern to join the CGH Team.

Purpose:

To provide an experiential learning opportunity within the International Aviation business sector of CGH Technologies. The intern will gain experience working in a dynamic government contracting business environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of research and communications.

Responsibilities:

• Strong communication and marketing skills with an interest in the International Aviation business sector
• Ability to conduct desk-based research into foreign countries tendering process (State, Air Navigation Service Provider, Airlines, UN, NGO, etc.)
• Provide support, with guidance, in drafting and submitting required qualification documents
• Assist in developing an excel file on all opportunities with current status
• Gain an understanding of maintaining and monitoring notification process (web capture, e-mail) of tenders and consulting opportunities to support CGH International work
• Undertaking research on trends in the International aviation market offerings to better identify ideal customer profile
• Familiarize yourself with CGH publications, product offering sheets, news releases, and support the editing and updating of the International section of CGH website and social media
• Learn the scope of administrative duties needed to support CGH International activities

Qualifications

Number of Years Experience Required:

Minimum Education and Certifications Required:

• Enrolled full-time in pursuit of a BA or BS in Business, Marketing or Communication.

Technical Skills Required:

Computer Skills:

• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• US Citizenship required.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills.
• Presentation skills a must.
• While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use a computer/keyboard/mouse for several hours on a daily basis.
• May require occasional light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
